Anarchism in America

This basically explains my life through television.

It's Sunday night and instead of doing work I'm going back and forth between watching Desperate Housewives and a very good documentary called Anarchism In America about Anarchism and how it works.
This documentary has interviews with Emma Goldman or archive footage of her and lots of information about when Anarchism ruled the Basque part of Spain when they were fighting Franco and the fascists.

anyway if you get the time watch the documentary here;

EUROTRIP

Inspired by all this lovely weather that will probably only last for a week. I planned out my Summer trip. I even made a handy map to illustrate my journey.

That's my Art GCSE coming into is own there. I'm getting a coach pass so there are gonna be some ridiculously long journeys but that's what travel scrabble is for.

Anyway the list goes London to Paris to Barcelona to Benicassim Festival back to Barcelona to Venice/Florence (Haven't decided yet) to Prague to meet some more people to Berlin to Amsterdam to home.

Except for the festival which is ten days we wills pend two or three days in each places. I'm very excited and am going to start working on my tan now.
If anyone is out there from these places and would like to put me and my good friend Jen up I'll be very grateful.

Christwire

I may have just found the most hilarious/wrong internet site.

With some charming article headlines such as;

"Silly Chinese Commies Try To Rebuild Noah’s Arc"
"AC/DC Helps Satan Enter Another Child’s Body"
"Black Mother Pushes Her Sexual Deviances Onto Her Daughter"
"Are Your Children Dirty Little Easter Commies?"
"Hallmark is a Homo Supporting Sinner Factory"

Thinking about it the more I read the more repulsive I find this.
Some people honestly are thick as shit.

Pictures & Slipknot

This may be the most emo images of me ever. I swear I'm normally not that bad.
Anyway this afternoon I have been living out my metal past with Slipknot. I remember when I was 12 and Iowa had just come out I queued for 5 hours to get the album signed.

Pop

Some of you lovely people by now might think I'm just some crazy anarchist loving rock and electronic music raver kid. The truth is you wouldn't be far off but I do have a pop side and here are two songs I literally can't get out of my head. So check them out I think both of them need way more recognition;

Charlotte Sometimes - Sweet Valium High

The Pierces - Boring

Peaches

I have just found out that Peaches is playing Benicassim yay.
She is the perfect act for that festival.

I love her. Mind you I heard the new song yesterday and wasn't blown away and but the last couple of albums have been brilliant.
So Happy Easter and enjoy peaches.

Disney Brats

This probably comes as no surprise to anyone but I hate the new spawn of Disney Brats that in the last three months have ejaculated all over the U.K.

I've been aware of the Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyruses (I have no idea how to plural her surname) of the world for a while now as I watch a lot of American TV and because I'm a student and therefore have way too much free time. I was fine with them staying in America with the crazy Christians and parents who think if there child hears the word fuck they'll be corrupted for life. I've got news for you kids swear already they generally know the important words by 11,maybe younger.

Please parents,don't let your children think that the Jonas Brothers are real music and introduce them to some real punk bands instead so they'll be politically aware and think for themselves and not buy into any of the Disney Corporations bullshit. Otherwise poor unsuspecting blind musically gifted people will have to be forced to go through ordeals like this again..

I was fine until without my notice they creeped across the atlantic and took over our charts as well and if i see a sudden surge of 12 years olds with purity rings and fractured ear drums we know who's to blame. Please go away I know not all British music is perfect but just go back to the kiddie farm or wherever Disney gets these kids from.

Dream Warriors

I'm going to be back in Cardiff tonight for two weeks. Badass.

This song is a tune. I love it. It uses the Quincy Jones/Austin Powers sample but was before Austin Powers but obviously not before Quincy Jones.

Dream Warriors - My Definition Of A Bombastic Jazz Style

Things that mattered this week.

This week was an important week for everyone mainly for different reasons, for me and millions of people it was time for justice as we protested against the g20 summit and for changes in there approach to the climate,trying to get justice for the economy and against the illegal wars around the world. For other people though there was a far more important event that happened last night. In a one hour Eastenders special it was finally revealed that Danielle was Ronnies daughter and they had one moment of happiness before she was killed in true Eastenders style in a random car accident.

I have never seen people so angry and outraged who have threatened to boycott all things related to it. I wish I was talking about the protests but I'm talking about Eastenders. Hey I know it's sad I'm not knocking Eastenders I watched it myself and was looking forward to the end of the tragic storyline but it seems like we have been getting our asses kicked by some of the most violent police I have seen just so we can be portrayed as thugs. We just can't get our voices heard on massively important issues and all people care about is Eastenders. Thinking about it now there is another thing people really are angry about ;the new facebook layout.

I was at the g20 protest on Wednesday and we weren't allowed to protest from the get go. If you treat people like criminals eventually they'll start acting like them. It was our right to protest. I was outside the bank of england and was there till around 6pm and I was there when RBS got smashed and I strongly believe that the police made things 1000 times worse. If anyone was looking for trouble it was the police and I found this quote on a blog on the guardian.com;
"The trouble-makers are out in force again. Dressed in black, their faces partly obscured, some of them appear to be interested only in violent confrontation. It’s almost as if they are deliberately raising the temperature, pushing and pushing until a fight kicks off. But this isn’t some disorganised rabble: these people were bussed in and are plainly acting in concert. There’s another dead giveaway. They are all wearing the same slogan: Police."

We will go on until the rich are stopped thinking of the needs of a few and we put people before profit.
